Founded in the spring of 1983, the estate is entirely owned and managed by Ursula and Charles Massoud, and their three sons. Only premium vinifera grapevines are planted, consisting of Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The traditional dense planting of the vineyards at 1100 vines per acre produces more concentrated fruit and therefore higher quality wines. For their wines, only estate grown grapes are used and production is limited to fewer than 9000 cases.

Festival Chardonnay

Festival Chardonnay is a blend of several lots of Chardonnay. It was fermented entirely in stainless steel tanks. It is light, dry, crisp and clean with refreshing aromas and flavors of apple, lemon, pineapple and stones. This is a great every day white, perfect with pasta, poultry, fish and cheese dishes.

Sauvignon Blanc

This Sauvignon Blanc is fresh and vibrant with aromas of lemon, followed by more subtle mineral and herbaceous notes. Medium-bodied with citrus flavors, crisp acidity and a pleasant, dry finish.

Dry Riesling

This wine was fermented entirely in stainless steel tanks to preserve the Riesling varietal character. It offers aromas of lime, green apple, lilies, lilac and other white flowers. Dry with flavors of lime, green apple, white apricot, it finishes with intense acidity. Pair it with white meat dishes and lighter fish.

Festival Red

52% Cabernet Sauvignon and 48% Merlot. Light to medium-bodied with fresh, ripe flavors of cherry, plum and spice. A great everyday red, try pairing it with pasta dishes, meat loaf or pizza.

Merlot

This medium bodied Merlot offers aromas and flavors of ripe plums and black cherries along with herbal and floral notes and a smooth tannin structure. 93% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot. Ready to drink now with roasted meats, Italian foods and cheese.

Cabernet Sauvignon

This Cabernet offers aromas of black cherry, cassis, cedar and spice. Medium-bodied with a soft tannin structure and a lengthy finish. A wonderful pair with roasted meats and Italian foods.

Late Harvest Riesling

This Riesling is a botrytis-affected wine, made from grapes with 'Nobel Rot'. It offers clean, bright aromas of peaches, apples, nectarines, flowers and honey. It has rich, honeyed texture with sweet and delicious flavors of apple, peach, apricot and grape. This wine has terrific acid balance, a persistent aftertaste and a crisp, nearly dry finish. Enjoy on it's own after a meal or try pairing it with fruit tarts and cheeses. Only 439 cases were made.
