Working the soil with passion, trying to capture in the wine those scents, colours and tastes that one can smell, see and feel. From the combination of indigenous grape varieties such as Nero d’Avola, Catarratto and Grillo with international grape varieties like Syrah and Cabernet the Possente wines are created. Time seems to be suspended among the vineyards in Alcamo and Salaparuta, where history, culture and wine tradition are intertwined, making this territory and its wines unique. Here the Possente family works through tradition and innovation, pinpointing the strengths on which to invest, always taking into consideration the growth opportunities offered by the market.

Thanks to its history and huge experience, the Possente family is nowadays continuing its activity, always focusing on the needs of the market. Essential, simple, well defined… These are the Possente labels: identical in their aspect but different in their recipe, since the Possente family gives the same dignity and quality to each wine. That is how Rahal and Bunifat, the two classic DOC, were born, respectively belonging to the districts of Salaparuta and Alcamo, which are territories vocated to the production of high quality DOC wines.

Bianco (White Wine)

Possente white wine offers a round bouquet, the fruity notes of white flesh fruit, especially white peach and pineapple, merge with the crisp herbaceous notes of Mediterranean scrub. A particularly pleasant white, characterized by a fresh aroma and taste.

Rosso (Red Wine)

Possente red wine confirms its traditional pleasantness and is characterized by a rich bouquet and gentle structure. On the nose it reveals scents of red fruit, especially those of strawberries and sour cherries, as well as a hint of black pepper. Mouth and nose correspond perfectly along with a pleasant freshness.

Zohra (Red Wine) (IGP)

Ruby red, the wine has an intense aromas of red fruits, cherry and strawberry, with a delicate flowery notes. The mouth is fresh and persistent with soft tannins: a versatile red for many kinds of food pairings.

Kima (White Wine) (IGP)

Strong personality characterized by a fruity and floral bouquet, round and elegant in the mouth. The white peach and exotic fruits melt with flowers of the Mediterranean, which makes it’s bouquet intense and complete. In the palate the smooth and minerality give a pleasant sensation.

Nero D'Avola (Red Wine) (IGP)

Ruby red with purple reflections. Intense, persistent, with hints of ripe fruit and spicy notes. Warm, harmonious and well balanced, with a soft and persistent finish.

Grillo (White Wine) (IGP)

Straw yellow with greenish reflections. Intense and persistent, with fruity and floral hints and notes of vanilla and citrus fruits. Full and soft, it maintains through time great balance and flavor.
